The Greater Southwest Historical Museum works to preserve the history of south central Oklahoma. Exhibits detail the area's history from the 1800's to the present. The Militay Memorial Museum is housed in one wing of the building that once served as a National Guard Armory for Oklahoma's historic, battle-proven 45th Division. Displays in the museum represent all eras from the Civil War to the Iraqi Freedom War.
