With a total construction area of 7,8000 square meters, Xingtai Museum is a large scale municipal comprehensive museum that attaches equal importance to history and art. It integrates functions such as collection, exhibition, research, archaeology, public education and cultural exchange.The overall architectural style of the museum is "the charm of the Tang Dynasty and the elegance of the Yuan Dynasty". The building consists of one main hall and four auxiliary halls.

Kaiyuan Temple in Xingtai, also known as Grand Kaiyuan Temple and East Grand Temple, was first built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty .
