Haixinsha is an island positioned on the new central axis of Guangzhou, at the point where the Liede and Pearl River meet. Guangzhou Opera House (GOH) is located in Zhujiang New Town, the heart of Guangzhou, equipped with an opera hall, an experimental theatre and 3 rehearsal rooms with different functions. GOH is designed by famous designer Zaha Hadid, whose façades are black, white and grey, known as two rocks in the river. Except for a comprehensive art performance center, GOH is also the significant base of Cantonese Opera.

Guangdong Museum is a first-rate provincial museum in China, whose architecture design is inspired by the traditional lacquer box. Covering an area of 77,000 square meter, the space of the museum, like an ivory ball is conceived as a sculpted antique Chinese artefact which collects treasures. The museum contains more than 320,000 exhibits, including natural specimens, fossils, ancient paintings and ceramics.

Tung Shan Hau is a street that embodies Guangzhou's urban environment and is steeped in the city's history. The Chinese had received their education in foreign countries in the past and had returned to their hometown and resided in the Tung Shan region to distinguish themselves from the large houses in Xiguan by combining modern Chinese aesthetics with Western knowledge. They also contributed significantly to the creation and maintenance of Guangzhou's "Garden City" at the same time.

Located in the old town of Guangzhou, Yong Qing Fang is a landmark and a popular tourist attraction. It's also an outstanding example of the city's rejuvenation that combines both tradition and modernity. Built in 1931, Yong Qing Fang has witnessed many historical and cultural changes in Guangzhou. Many old buildings have been renovated yet still retain their original architectural style and historic value.

Shamian Island is an elliptic sandbar in the Liwan District of Guangzhou City. Surrounded by water, it is just like a giant ship mooring alongside the wharf. Shamian Island has great historic significance which had been served as an important port for Guangzhou's foreign trade during Song and Qing Dynasty. In 2023, the new facility of the Guangzhou Museum of Art opened. Haixin Bridge is situated along the central axis of Guangzhou. It is the city's first pedestrian bridge featuring a diagonal arch design that connects the banks of the river.
