Terrible location and they charge for parking

You cannot get in or out of this location without a U TURN. It’s too close to the exit to safely make your right turn and you can’t make a left to go out because of the non stop traffic from I26. Why charge for parking when you are on the deserted end of town and there are no restaurants in walking distance or USC. You need a car to get anywhere from this hotel so why penalize the guest for the poor location. I can’t come here again.

Great location close to many restaurants and stores. Quiet hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel when in the Columbia area.

Outside of the loudness of the HVAC unit in my room I had a good stay. The location was close to where I needed to be and overall the rooms were nice. I just got unlucky and had a room with a HVAC unit that sounded it it was pushing harder than it actually was, even with the temp set to 72.
Bad smell on the room and pillows

During the staying me and my colleagues felt a bad smelling coming from the rooms. I spent 2 days and none of them room was cleaned. Pillows are not comfortable also

Loved how friendly and accommodating staff was. Fast service. Love the room, it was absolutely fantastic, the lighting the way the room was decorated, loved sleeping in that amazing bed, and everything was fantastic!
1st bad experience @ an IHG hotel

When we got there, there was a line of at least 10 people whose rooms were not ready. The assistant manager apologized & said she walked into the situation and will get on top of it. We waited for an hour and twenty minutes in the lobby until a room was ready. We came for the Carolina game & our fiancés had to get ready in the car…. On Sunday our checkout was at 12:00. Room service knocked and came in at 9:30 and woke everyone up, & then at 10:30 and did the same thing. Overall a very poor experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel from June until just a few days ago and had a very positive experience overall. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds provide a great night’s rest, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. The property is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful.
One team member in particular, Stephanie, exceeded all expectations. As a Diamond Elite member, I have stayed at many properties, but I have rarely encountered someone who demonstrates such genuine care for every guest. When my A/C unit unexpectedly went out one evening, she personally assisted me with packing my belongings and ensured I was comfortably relocated to another room.Throughout my stay, Stephanie was consistently professional, attentive, and kind. She greeted guests with a smile, went out of her way to ensure their comfort, and truly set a high standard for customer service. She made a lasting impression, and I felt it was important to acknowledge her outstanding efforts.Stephanie’s dedication and genuine hospitality are a credit to this property, and she deserves recognition for going above and beyond to create an exceptional guest experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. As a newcomer to the area who arrived earlier than expected, I truly appreciated the warm welcome and assistance with early check-in provided by Latoya. Her friendly and accommodating demeanor made a lasting impression and contributed greatly to a pleasant experience. She also offered great recommendations for local dining and entertainment, and her cheerful attitude added a personal touch to my visit.
The complimentary breakfast and evening social hour were excellent additions, and the quiet atmosphere of the building allowed me to rest comfortably without interruption. Overall, an outstanding stay.

My extended stay at the hotel was like staying in a home away from home. All credits goes to all the staffs members ranging from the General Manager to the cleaners. The level of hospitality was indeed above average.

I had an amazing stay while on business. The staff was very helpful and always checked on member staying to ensure there was no issues. The food and drinks for social hour was very good. Breakfast was also really good!
